BNEFF Takes Giant Step in Major Direction?

The Tri-State Bulldogs and BNEFF teams are now a pioneer of Major League Football

Scranton, PA - March 31, 2011 -

Today the BNEFF Group is proud to announce a giant step in a major direction. For years the teams of the BNEFF have been known to be Semi-Pro or either Minor League Football by name only. By definition the both of these terms have been branded as levels where the players are paid for their services. Today this association ends, yes fans it is a new day. The Big North East Football Federation is officially known as Major League Football - MLF. You say what is Major League Football? By new definition it is our league with professional standards across our league landscape, Jimmy Kibble president of BSN Sports and MLF business associate quoted: "MLF is a place where players with the pro talent can have a legitimate chance to be seen by pro scouts and college scouts through the MLF games and also through the pro combines run by BSN. This will give MLF players that desired next level exposure, a sure tool to catch the attention of leagues such as the NFL, CFL, and AFL." This level of football has not been given the respect it deserves; we want to show our fans that they are a part of something good positioned to be great. The MLF will have 14 teams spanning from New York to North Carolina. The league is working on a new interactive website for our fans and sponsors alike. We look forward to a fun and exciting season. We are focused on quality football, family atmosphere and fun! WHO WE ARE

We are the 1996 SFL Champs, the 1997 UFL Northern Division Champs, 1998 UFL Big Apple Bowl Champs undefeated 15-0, 2002 EFL Champs, and 2006 EFL Southern Division Champs. The Bulldogs have won 6 divisional titles, and 3 league championships. The 25 year history of the Bulldogs is quite impressive, compiling a record of 173 wins 37 losses and 2 ties. Winning is a tradition with Tri-State, a tradition that will live forever. We are a family oriented organization focused on achieving and maintaining a winning tradition in minor league football. We are committed to excellence and leadership in producing a championship caliber minor league football team. We are also committed to providing opportunities for personal development through participation in athletic competition and civic activities. We accept the responsibility to exhibit good corporate citizenship by supporting our community’s youth programs and local charity events. We are dedicated to providing an excellent “family friendly” sports entertainment product that produces a positive return for our sponsors, partners and supporters. After taking some time off to restructure, the Tri-State Bulldogs Minor League Football Organization will return in championship form, bigger and better then ever for the upcoming 2011 Football Season. The 2011 season will bring even more changes with a reorganization of management, increased staff, additional coaches and players with the emphasis on COMMITMENT!!! St. Lawrence Community Health and Sports Center at 115 Torne Valley Rd., Hillburn, NY 10931, exit 15A off the New York Thruway, just 5 minutes north of the NY/NJ border.
